A graduate from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors degree in Plant and Soil Science with an emphasis in Horticultural Business Management, she is responsible for estimating and designing for all our residential clientele. IS YOUR LANDSCAPE READY FOR A DROP IN TEMPERATURES? Tips to take in protecting your landscape through the winter: -Protect your clay and ceramic containers by removing them from the outdoor elements and storing them in a warmer, protected location -Dig up all tender bulbs, and plants and overwinter them indoors -Continue to remove only dead branches, but AVOID any significant pruning of shrubs and trees until next season in order to protect them from frost damage -Add a 3" layer of mulch to all perennials and shrubs as the ground freezes. This will help regulate the soil temperatures and moisture, while keeping the roots of the plant protected. -Continue to water newly installed plants while the temperatures remain above 40 degrees all day, if and when the ground freezes halt all watering until the ground thaws **IF YOUR PLANTS DO EXPERIENCE FROST DAMAGE DO NOT REMOVE THIS FOLIAGE UNTIL SPRING, IN ORDER TO PREVENT FROST DAMAGE OF NEW GROWTH**THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE BRAMER TEAM
